Train Today Respond Tomorrow WORKSHOP
An annual KS SART weekend workshop designed for anyone (at least 18 years of age) ready to become a Kansas State Animal Response Team volunteer. Required standard responder training courses are offered in class-room and hands-on training sessions. Click here for details on the next workshop.
Other Training Options
Several courses can be taken on-line and links are provided below. The Shelter course (Day 2 of Train Today Respond Tomorrow) is not currently available on-line. Volunteers taking on-line courses must submit their certificates to the volunteer support committee. Upon completion of the below courses volunteers can register to take the Shelter course offered on Day 2 of the Train Today Respond Tomorrow workshop.
- FEMA IS 100: Intro to Incident Command System (web base)
- FEMA IS700: Introduction to NIMS (web based)
- Basic Pet First Aid (American Red Cross or equivalent course) Pet First Aid
- Basic Human First Aid (American Red Cross or equivalent course)
