Mary Prewitt
Mary is currently employed as a research attorney for the Kansas Supreme Court. Her emergency animal sheltering experience began as an emergent volunteer at Louisiana State University and Lamar Dixon emergency animal shelters following Hurricane Katrina. Since then, she has completed appropriate training and deployed as a team member in emergency shelters following natural disasters and law enforcement actions in Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, California and Missouri. She has presented on her emergency response experiences and taught portions of emergency animal response and sheltering courses.
